Can I update my own web site?

Absolutely! If you know how. Nothing we do will perevent you from updating your own site. If it is hosted with TwoRebels Hosting, you will be provided with all the details you need to access the files that make up your web site. If not hosted with us, presumably you already have the necessary login details with your existing hosting provider.

If you have elected to have us develop your website with a backend interface (CCMS) then you will be provided with detailed instructions on how to log in and update the portions of your site, that you requested. It will be a very simple process, requiring very little time to learn.

What is the difference between a web host and a web site?

A web host is the internet server that your web site resides on. It's job is to be available to serve the files that make up your web site when ever someone visits your website's url ( ie: http://your-domain-name.com )

A web site consists of the actual pages that make up what a visitor views, at your web site's url. In order to be visible on the internet, a site needs to be hosted by a web host.

Will my web site come with eMail?

Yes! In fact, using an eMail address@yourbusiness.com appears far more professional than using an address provided by a free company such as hotmail, yahoo or gmail etc. You may of course keep your existing email address, but we strongly recommend you take advantage of the eMail capabilities that we provide with accounts hosted on our servers.

How long will it take to get a web site?

The amount of time it takes to develop and deploy a website depends on several factors. The size of the project is the largest factor. Having all your ducks in a row can also help reduce the time it takes. If we need to wait for decisions or content from you, (the client) then obviously it will take longer to get the job done. We will be able to give you a good idea of how long it will take after an initial consultation. We will also provide you with a list of things you can do to hurry things along if you wish.
